The tartar sauce is a sauce containing mayonnaise, mustard and pickled gherkins, finely chopped together with capers, olives, onions and horseradish; parsley is sometimes added. It is used to accompany certain dishes such as fish or chicken wings. The name comes from the tribes Tatar of Mongolia, although in this case Tatar quot; quot; in French it means raw, uncooked.

Ta sauce Tartar is incorrectly written and should be written as "tartar sauce" being its meaning:!
